Cover-Girl teaching girls wrong Ideals!

I am boycotting CG make-up. I heard this commercial that bothered me for sometime and I didn't know why, until I heard it again this morning. When I actually Listened.

"INNER BEAUTY IS IMPORTANT, BUT NOT AS IMPORTANT AS OUTER BEAUTY!"

Really? We spend years trying to teach our girls that its what is inside that matters. We fight against stereotypes. I myself get so angry b/c I get judged on my looks rather then what is inside, or my intelligence, my heart and my spirit.

With society telling us ( thru the use of Celebrities, ads, tv shows, etc) that we need to have boob jobs because perfect boobs and lotsa cleavage are what men want. That we need to buy the latest fashions ( 100.00 shoes, 80.00 jeans, 65.00 handbags) Just watch the commercials on the style network, E, MTV, or other channels geared toward the younger generation.
We absolutely have to have the whitest teeth. AND "We are too FAT".

We try hard to teach our kids that it is what is inside that matters. Then along comes covergirl. One more in a line of big fat conglomerates that want to spread lies to make a buck!

I MYSELF will NEVER buy another CG product. I don't patronize companies that oversexualize, or perpetuate more vanity.

What I want to know is HOW can a person who identifies herself as a man in the species ( she is a lez who dresses the part of the male in the world and relationship- even in perversion there is a male and female counterpart which really makes me scratch my head!)- How can a male identity model and sell Makeup to women?
