16-year-old Abraham Cherrix was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease last year.Now I got this in my e-lert this morning.
Cherrix's preferred treatments include an organic diet and herbal supplements.
At 16 he didn't want the invasiveness that comes with tradional treatments.
The Judge and the Dept of Social services said that made his parents guilty of Neglect- Letting a 16 decide his treatments.
Another case of "Gunpoint Medicine" fiasco emerged this week as Abraham Cherrix, a 16-year-old Hodgkin's disease sufferer, decided he didn't want a second round of chemotherapy. The first round nearly killed him, leaving him so frail and weak that he couldn't walk. With the support of his parents, Abraham began to educate himself about alternative cancer treatments, telling his oncologist he did not wish to experience any more chemotherapy.
As he explains, "This is my body that I'm supposed to take care of. I should have the right to tell someone what I want to do with this body. I studied. I did research. I came to this conclusion that the chemotherapy was not the route I wanted to take."
"........Armed agents will hunt down the family, and Abraham will be effectively forced to undergo chemotherapy at gunpoint. Hence the term, "Gunpoint Medicine."

The treatment being sought out by Abraham is the Hoxsey treatment. Since there is NO MORE RESPECT for personal Medical choice in this country , and the Mexicans are Hell Bent on taking this land and Chimpy and his cronies in Washington are hellbent on letting them have it, and our Alternatives Drs. have all moved to mexico why not Just relocate the US south of the Border and let the friggin immigrants have this F**ked Up Nazi Government!

Three months of chemotherapy last year made him extremely weak. So when he learned in February that his cancer was active again, he turned -- against doctors' advice -- to a sugar-free organic diet, herbs and visits to a clinic in Mexico.
A social worker asked a judge to require the teen to continue conventional treatment. --( WHO THE HELL IS THIS S.W.? WHAT AUTHORITY DOES HE/SHE HAVE OVER ANOTHER HUMAN BEING?)
In May, the judge issued a temporary order finding Jay and Rose Cherrix neglectful for supporting their son's choice to pursue alternatives. Judge Jesse E. Demps also ordered the parents to share custody of Abraham with the Accomack County Department of Social Services.
Abraham's parents face losing custody completely.
"What it boils down to is does the American family have the right to decide on the health of their child," Jay Cherrix said, "or is the government allowed to come in and determine that themselves and threaten one way or the other to split our family up?"

His Cancer had a 100% mortality rate! (The reports showed that everyone who has ever had this type of cancer died.)
How many places have had their businesses raided because the FDA and Big Pharma Didn't want you curing yourself?
There is big money to made off of experimenting on people with drugs, it is the biggest gold mine.
Imagine if everyone who had been given a death sentence of cancer lived?
Decades of money poured into cancer reaserch, trillions of dollars, and they claim they still have no cure?
How many years I have heard them say "WE ARE SO CLOOOOSE!"
Imagine all that money going to other things? ( Actually they are, they are going to making new and dangerous drugs! Like Vioxx, Bextra, Phen-Phen, etc...)
They found a cure for baldness and impotence and yet there is no cure for other diseases like cancer, MS, MD, JD, to name but a few?
I personally think it is all in the diet and the environment. But I digress!
This story is about all those who wish to seek an alternative to conventional medicine.
I thought this was a FREE COUNTRY!
I thought we were FREE TO MAKE PERSONAL CHOICES?
